Welcome to west coast gourmet hi i’m david robertson we’re here today at the dirty apron cooking school and we’re going to do a little twist on french toast what i did is i took a brioche bread cut the holes out with a cutter put that into my french toast batter and
Pan fried that but this is where the real fun comes in we took some grapefruit juice squeeze that little egg yolk little riesling wine and we whisk that over a warm water bath until it got really nice and frothy and then we get to go ahead and just dollop this over
Top look at that creamy foam this could be orange juice in here also or a little lemon juice nice and frothy then we get to take our grapefruit segments put those over top take a little bit of my personal favorite bourbon maple syrup to finish it all off
