Alsace was a fantastic surprise! Very pretty, easy to drive around, lots of great wine, and many towns straight out of a fairy tale! This ad seems to show a lot of upper-class restaurants; we didn't eat at those. The food that we found in Alsace was a bit limited, although tasty. Choucroute, tarte flambee, food heavy on vinegar. It's such a wonderful place to visit, we will definitely go back; next time, maybe we'll try these more expensive restaurants for variety.
