Most people who cruise and visit Seattle are sailing from this port… but we are here for one day as a port day on our way to Vancouver. But you will be amazed at how much you can do in one day since you are getting off the ship right in the heart of the city!

First off, you are just a few blocks from the famous Pike Place Market. This is a MUST DO when visiting Seattle! You could spend the entire day here just looking at all of the unique shops, watching the fish be thrown, eating all of the delicious food… there is so much to do! And also, the first Starbucks is nearby too at 1912 Pike Place. If you are a coffee aficionado, this is somewhere you must visit! We spent several hours doing just this and had a fabulous lunch at Lowell’s Restaurant… OMG those fish & chips were amazing!! And before leaving this area, we had to go and add to the ‘gum wall’… it’s so gross but so cool too!

Now for some sightseeing! For this we have CityPASS to give us entrance to several places you will want to visit. So we hop an Uber over to the Space Needle… but unfortunately it was closed for a private event for the Seattle Seahawks… man we hated missing this! But luckily, right next door is the Museum of Pop Culture and Chihuly Gardens… both of which were incredible! Way better than we expected!! Such an EPIC day in Seattle!!
