Etihad Airways has always been celebrated as having one of the best first class in the sky following the airline’s A380 launch. However, in the post-pandemic world of air travel, the carrier’s excessively lavish A380 is replaced with a much more modest 787 equipped with its first generation first class suite.
Modest is a word to describe the cabin ambiance. But it does not preclude Etihad’s 787 first class from offering sumptuous amenities with 2002 vintage champagne and ultra-exclusive lounge facility at Abu Dhabi.
