We taste a French wine in this episode – a Bordeaux! We taste the Le Terrasse de La Garde wine from the Pessac-Leognan region of Bordeaux.
Given that it is a Bordeaux one would expect the price to be higher and this one clocks in at £15:00.
The colour is a nice dark ruby colour and the nose is unimpressive!
It is difficult to detect any discernable scent and in fact, it is a little bland.
On the taste, this Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon blend is very – “meh”
It is really disappointing for a £15:00 bottle of wine.
Even if it had been priced at £6:00 we could still say we have had better at the price.
