Charles Sobhraj became notorious in the period of the 1970s carrying out carried out a spree of crimes and murder on the Southeast Asia Hippie Trail. By 1976, he was Interpol’s most wanted man and had arrest warrants on three different continents.
He was known by a variety of names, most famously, the Bikini Killer which has to do with the attire of the victims he murdered. He is also known as The Serpent due to his skills in deception.
