On 26 March 1351, thirty English knights under Robert Bemborough fought thirty French under Jean de Beaumanoir at an oak tree in Brittany, on foot, to the death, with a crowd watching. They paused halfway for wine and bandages and then resumed. Fifteen Englishmen died. The French won it when a squire fetched a horse and rode it through the English line.

So a squire cheated
They simply had to cheat, they could never win fairly.
Stabbed in the back the French way
Just what you would expect from people that eat slugs
The french just had to cheat or die. The Englismen were morally victorious🏴
The English and the French have been fighting each other for centuries, but God help any other countries who dare to fight either one, as in both World Wars…
Won it with the 1 man that cheated
Kriger ære har vi sku ikke længere🎉
Slippery frogs.
Fought like a coward, won like a coward. The French way—and then celebrating themselves for it, too.
Should remember the French were brave in bigger groups , or advantage overwhelming on their side, bit like their battle flag a huge white flag with a white cross apon it
So the French cheated………
One would say they cheated. But the English lost regardless. And then the french lost more.
Normans sure know how to fight
