This is Episode 5 of my Air fryer recipe series – don’t miss it 💥
INGREDIENTS
🥔 Potatoes – as required
🧂 Salt – to taste + 1 tsp for boiling
🍋 Lemon juice – ½ lemon
🌿 Oregano – to taste
🌶️ Chilli powder – to taste
🖤 Black pepper – to taste
🌽 Corn flour – 1½ tbsp
🫒 Oil – 1 tbsp + ½ tbsp
PROCESS
🥔 Cut potatoes into thin, even fries.
💧 Soak in ice-cold water for 30 mins to remove excess starch.
🔥 Add fries to boiling water with 1 tsp salt + juice of ½ lemon. Boil for 5 mins.
🚿 Drain and dry the potatoes completely.
👉🏻 Don’t skip this step — moisture can make fries soggy!
✨ Add salt, oregano, black pepper, chilli powder, 1½ tbsp corn flour + 1 tbsp oil. Mix well.
🍟 Place them in the air-fryer tray in a single layer. Don’t overcrowd.
🔥 Air fry at 140°C for 10 mins.
🫒 Add ½ tbsp oil, mix and air fry at 200°C for 10 mins, mixing in between.
⚠️ TIP: Every air fryer is different, so start checking after 7–8 mins at 200°C.
✨ Crispy, golden & delicious!
