  1. My family has been going to the original location since they opened. Their large parking lot makes it easy to drive there. My late wife's favorite dessert was their Creole cake, which has graced our table during many birthday parties. And I love their hot chocolate, which is made from real chocolate, not powder.

    If I remember correctly, the bakery was originally created to service restaurants and other wholesale customers, which explains why it's located in a small out-of-the-way shopping center. The bakery equipment is in the basement so the owners decided to open a small retail store on the first floor for local eaters, but the retail side took off and started attracting more and more customers, until most of their business is now retail.

    The next time you go, don't forget to try some of their sandwiches, too. Their bread is also baked fresh in house.
