This is my hall. I wanted to make it bright and to put some colorful pictures and a mirror.
The second picture is an AI suggestion, but I'm not sure if I like it.
Can you please suggest the best color for a dado rail, or any other suggestions to make it bright and joyful?

Never seen chair rails that light up before… maybe pick something that matches the base boards a little more? But honestly the railing didnt stand out to me very much.
Consider keeping the rail white and painting the lower half of the wall a deeper shade; the color you have looks a bit washed out. I’m not a fan of the AI generated design – the lighting doesn’t help and the walls look a bit cluttered and disorganized.
