The Eiffel Tower is an iconic 330-meter iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France.
Built for the 1889 World’s Fair, it is the most visited paid monument in the world, offering panoramic city views, high-end dining, and a glass-floored observation deck.
Designed and built by French civil engineer Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, whose firm also engineered the internal framework of the Statue of Liberty.
Constructed from 18,000 prefabricated iron pieces and 2.5 million rivets, it held the title of the world’s tallest man-made structure until 1930.
