I have this massive (huge!) framed piece. Our living area is two story so also massive wall space to cover. I am looking for ideas on what else to hang that would go with this. I was thinking about DaVinci's La Scapigliata, but what else? The walls are white. The furniture trends toward earth tones. Any other ideas for decor that would make this all work together are welcome. I don't want a lot of tchotchkes around, but a few thoughtful pieces that tie it together are ok.

I have this aesthetic. A massive portrait of Van Beethoven in a Baroque frame with scattered, accompanying, small, black and white photographs in modern frames of 20th century moments.
