First and foremost, I know the TV is too high. My husband mounted it when I wasn’t home. He’s going to lower it but hasn’t gotten to that yet.
Now for the reason I’m here: My new bookshelves came in today! I need some guidance on how to decorate them (and the mantel for that matter) in a way that doesn’t look either random or like stuff is just lined up along the shelves. Any suggestions of what you think looks good on a bookshelf or how you style things on them would be appreciated!

Not sure if you have many DVDS but you can put them there, or board games make that room like your entertainment room shelf, so like games, books, media, even snacks could be in like a basket to make it theater room vibes.
