I wanted to share my DIY pool / hot tub i made for a grand total of 380$ to help with summer heat and chilly evenings. I saw this on social medias and i tried to give it a go.
I am not a super manual guy but i do have power tools to help me
Price break down:
200$ of wood (2×4, 2×6, 1×6)
60$ for the 1000L tote i got on marketplace
Free stairs i found on the side of the road
60$ pool filter from amazon warehouse
60$ water heater i got from amazon
I basically took a grinder to cut the top off, i then piecre and screwed 2×4 around it into the metal frame. I cut the 2×6 to cap the top, and then i screwed on the 1×6 all around the sides
Then the pool filter install was pretty basic
The flooring was done with more 2x4s and 1×6
