Hard to say without seeing the exact light in your room but based on what you described I would go with something neutral like a warm beige or cream, floor to ceiling makes the room look taller anyway so you want color that blends not competes. Gray sofa and wood tones already doing lot of the work so curtains just need to soften the window area. My living room has similar setup and I put in linen curtains in off-white, at first I was worried it look too plain but with the wooden furniture it actually bring everything together nice. If you want bit more contrast maybe a dusty blue but that depend on the art you have on the wall

I would try to pick up a color in the painting. You already are doing that with the blue rug, so probably not that; it’s hard to see what the other colors are, other than the mustard background. Do you have any other artwork we can’t see?
Your vibe is clean and tranquil so I’d stay in that lane.

Something like this layered over dark bamboo shades would be attractive.
