Anyone had a rug with edges like this and end up loving or hating it? I got this 8×10 loloi rug from home goods a couple weeks ago and I just laid it out and am having second thoughts. It’s 100% wool with a 100% linen backing which is what I wanted. It feels like good quality, but I wonder if the curvy edges will hold up over time? Are the edges likely to fray, curl in, get matted down, etc? I’ve only ever had a rectangular rug.
Also, do you think it’s hideous? I love it and my husband thinks it’s ugly but is on board if I really like it lol. I only have a few days to return it so I gotta decide asap. I’ve been really wanting to bring some more color into our home and I fell in love with it in the store.
Side note, I have young kids and we live on a farm, so things can get messy.. but we’re really good about no shoes in the house & keeping snacks/food at the table, so it should be okay right? Thanks!

I haven’t had one but am in love with a couple weird edge rugs on AllModern that I hope to buy soon. It look nice for a farmhouse and wool and linen are excellent materials for a rug. Do you have pic of it in the room? I say keep it:)
