Pride Syrah 2023 by odedi1 Wine 1 Comment odedi1 1 hour ago Reddish in color with a wide reddish rim. Fruity nose of red and black fruits with cedar, licorice, chocolates, coffee, light earth, herbs and spices. Medium bodied with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn. Nice finish with round tannins and tangy cherries. This is a delicious Syrah from the Sonoma County side of Spring Mountain. Elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and entertaining. Still young, but already very approachable, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A blend of 95% Syrah, 3% Grenache and 2% Viognier. Aged in neutral French oak barrels. 14.8% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $70. Write A CommentYou must be logged in to post a comment.
