Forty years ago, the estate wasn’t even bottling its own wines. Today, it ranks among Burgundy’s most sought-after producers, with bottles such as Cros Parantoux, Richebourg and Aux Brûlées commanding extraordinary prices on the secondary market.
In this video, I explore the history of Domaine Méo-Camuzet, the influence of legendary winemaker Henri Jayer, and seven wines from my cellar that illustrate the domaine’s distinctive style.
We’ll look at some of Burgundy’s most famous vineyards, including Cros Parantoux, Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées, while examining how these wines have evolved over time and how their values have changed.

I was introduced to Meo Camuzet not so along ago with the 2021 Vosne Romanee. I absolutely loved its style and really was captivated by it.
My question is, do you think that their village level wines are still considered good value enough to buy a case?
Would you happen to have other recommendations on producers with simillar style and better value perhaps?

Thank you for this video! Learn so much every time you post. I'm trying to explore more of their domaine wines if I can find them at a good price, though I recently had their negotiant label 2014 Méo-Camuzet Frère et Sœurs Fixin 1er Cru Clos du Chapitre which was surprisingly very decent and good value for a back vintage, that needed and paired very nicely with roast venison.
