✨Crockpot French Onion Beef Bites Over Mashed Potatoes✨
1. Take 2 pounds of stew meat and season well. I used steak seasoning and onion and herb seasoning.
2. Take a large pan and sear your meat. Add a little oil to that pan first. You want it browned on each side. Then add to your crockpot.
3. To that same pan add 1/2 a stick of butter. Once about melted add 2 sliced yellow onions. Cook the onions for around ten minutes until a bit browned and translucent. Now add those to your crockpot.
4. To the crockpot also add 1 can of condensed French onion soup, two cups beef broth and optional: 16 ounces of sliced mushrooms.
5. Cook on high 4-5 hours or low 7-8 hours.
6. If you’d like a thicker gravy add to a separate bowl 2 tablespoons of corn starch with 2 tablespoons of water. Then add that to your crockpot 30 minutes before serving.
7. Enjoy over mashed potatoes or add egg noodles.
