We want to get the carpet in the pic, but we are doubting for which type of carpet could make this living room more fresh in terms of style. We know the colour of the table is horrendous, we are aiming to change it. Also, we want to hand a "La La Land" poster in one of the walls. Any other suggestion/advice is more than welcome! ❤️ cheers!

I really dislike that carpet, it looks like a wine spill. I think for boho something with more patterns and lines would look better. Maybe one w horizontal stripes that help widen the space. Also wall mirror
Will get dirty fast
Can you move the shelf above the sofa to the shorter wall next to the door? It’s contributing to the hallway aesthetic of the room. Artwork would look better on the sofa wall.
