Okay, so I painted some samples and took pictures at various times of day (morning, noon, afternoon, night). It was fairly overcast this morning. I do usually get more light.

The colors are from left to right:
1. Sophisticated teal
2. Dragonfly
3. Beta fish
4. Calypso blue

I am torn between 1 and 2. My husband likes both of them and 3 as well, but I think it too green and doesn’t have enough gray in it.

What are your thoughts?

See how and when you use the room. Lighter for day time and darker for night time use

Try dove 🩶 gray and have them use the computer to read the color card then have them mix it they get upset when someone asks this to them cuz the computer reader is exact u will see try it with a quart dove 🩶 gray ok then do a seoerate wall in that blue 🔵 u have up there also they have a finish not eggshell there’s a new one use that finish ok

    2. Dragonfly. The lighter is better. Will enhance or show off the bed’s headboard better.

    I’m liking 4, Calypso Blue..It kinda pops

None of these imo, especially not the ones that are grey. I’d go for a warmer tone since you have the orange-y warm tone wood trim and your bed frame is warm tone too.

I really like beta fish, but I like that moody. Dark academia vibe.

These are some really great colors and I think your bed frame and your bed pyr will really pop with all of them 😂. I like #2 the best though

    1 and 2
I think the others are too dark.
    I really dislike 4

Ohhhhhh absolutely 3. What a gorgeous moody teal color. I like it precisely because of the lack of grey. I love it!

2 is good. Look on the paint strip and consider 1 color lighter

I’d go with 1, Sophisticated Teal. Numbers 3 & 4, but especially #4, read very much like something a 22 year old guy would choose for his first place (and he’d pair it with dark bedding, of course).

Just make sure to get matte/zero sheen paint. And have light/ivory bedding.

2 looks good, the other 3 would be too dark

Dragonfly is a really pretty color and it looked good in all lights!

I like dark in a bedroom with good lighting, looks like Im in the minority though

2 looks the most relaxing to me.
