I managed to find this on a wine list at a restaurant in Paris. This wine initially presented itself with a bit of oak on the nose and a small hint of fruit on the palate. After about 30 minutes, this became absolutely gorgeous with aromatics of ripe cherries. The palate kept changing throughout the night with some strawberry notes and riper cherry notes with some spice coming through on the palate. This is one of those wines that’s very difficult to describe in writing but transcends vocabulary.
