I renewed my lease for another year so I want to decorate my room more and make it cozy. My bed frame is a Forrest green colour and velvet. I love duvets but it gets too hot to sleep with one. Any ideas??
maybe try linen duvet cover with lightweight filling – stays cooler but still gives that cozy look you want

Frames for the posters.
You can get thin duvet inserts from ikea which aren’t very warm. If that’s still too hot, you could just use a thin blanket or top sheet.

I love Forrest green with gold accents. Paint the frames on that art gold. Then the lamp base and swap out the nightstand with a tall bookcase paint it green and the inside back of each shelf gold. A big ass cozy throw on the floor and off you go.

The room needs more color & texture to create coziness. Can you paint the walls? I’d also add curtains and a rug

Sometimes when it’s really hot, I just use my duvet cover and no duvet insert
