Day one recap of walking the Camino de Santiago along the beautiful Pyrenees Mountains. This first stage is the hardest but also has the most spectacular landscape.

We walked along the Napoleon Route, crossing the mountain passes of Cize, ascending from 180 metres of altitude at Saint Jean Pied de Port to the 1430 metres of the Lepoeder pass and then descending through a spectacular beech forest down to 945 metres at Roncesvalles.

Absolutely stunning, think we are a little in love with Southern France 🇫🇷😍
