Hello all,
I got this blank wall along one side of my living room. I want to add floating shelves so I can put books, action figures, plushies, etc along it.
Any ideas for design/layout?
Wall is about 91" tall (2.31 meters) and 152" wide (3.86m) up to that little divider on the top right

with that much width, I’d go for staggered rows rather than everything at the same height. think 3-4 shelves that step up or down across the wall. it breaks up the monotony and makes the arrangement feel intentional rather than just filling space. for mixing books with action figures and plushies, varying shelf depth helps too: shallower ones closer to eye level so figure details are visible, deeper ones lower down for books. keeps everything from hiding behind each other.
