wow I just did the opposite! was in nice for a few days and arrived in paris yesterday 🕺 enjoy! there are a couple small beaches near plage coco that I highly recommend (:
I don't specifically know for arkose, but I know that my old gym banned regular chalk because it was bad for the lung especially for the gym worker who had to breathe it all day long !
Les sales voleurs republique, has a decreasing price, the cheapest day is 95 cents(Thursday), and the most expensive one is 4,50(Friday). I have found pretty cool stuff there! They also have other locations, but this one is my favorite
girl you good with your gym clothes outside no one cares (except if you’re a poc and they’re racist, not going much into details but i’m sure you get it) but one rule in paris is that you dress however the f u want to and no one actually cares 🫶
french girl here as well, it’s more common now to see some people wearing gym clothes on the street but it’s mostly teens and tourists and still viewed as tacky, you’re doing a great job being a part of the culture! i hope you enjoy a lovely and deserved trip
I personally sometimes go out in my gym clothes because I feel bonita and super confy, you can wear athleisure in a fashion maner and I see a lot of people wear either their workout clothes or streetwear, nobody will bat an eye, don’t worry! It’s just that most people wouldn’t wear gym clothes while they are working or going to the restaurant/bar but nobody will care if you are wearing workout clothes in the streets!
To be completely honest with you, I feel like the extremely stylish people in Paris are mostly tourists but that might just be my point of view! 🤭

Those boots are so cute! Could you share where you got them?
So happy you're visiting more of France than just Paris! It's a great city but the whole country has so much more to offer 🙂 Have fun!!
No one really cares if you wear gym clothes out. It’s a big city and people have other things to think about.
And btw, I live in Paris and I love it here – it’s such an underrated city!

Athleisure isn't really a thing- gym clothes are for working out and then "normal" clothes outside of that. And lounge/leisure wear for at home.
I would advise you to go East to Strasbourg or Metz, these are very nice very walkable cities with a lot of "fleuve" and quaint street
I used to go to Utopie all the time when I was studying in Paris, yes I miss their sesame pastries so muchh
Plllleeeasseeee where did you get your boots from? 🩷

Loving your Paris vlogs! Quick question, are reservations needed for solo dining in cafes, bistros, and restaurants in France?

utopie is the best! they won best baguette in paris in 2024 which meant they supplied baguettes to the presidential office!
