The Greenhouse has opened at Quay Waterfront in Newstead, and it’s already the most talked-about table in Brisbane. Backed by the team behind The Wolf Dining, the 220-seat venue wraps around parkland and the Brisbane River with fully operable sliding doors that open the entire space to the outdoors. The menu leans into modern European: French, Italian, Spanish, cooked over woodfire and charcoal.

THE MENU

– 🥩 Lamb Cigars: Crispy, rolled, and built for sharing, one of the standout small plates on the European-leaning menu.
– 🍤 Deconstructed Prawn Cocktail: A classic reimagined with the kitchen’s woodfire-and-charcoal approach.
– 🍗 French Rotisserie Chicken: Slow-roasted in a traditional rotisserie, this is the dish the kitchen was built around.

THE EXPERIENCE

– 🍮 Tableside Tiramisu: Made at the table, and yes, it’s as good as it sounds.
– 🍹 The Bloody Mary: Order one. You won’t be disappointed
– 🌿 The Water Terrace: A fully open-air zone surrounded by ponds and parkland, Brisbane’s best new outdoor dining seat.
