Brought this bottle to La Connessa in SF for dinner.
Side note, highly recommend La Connessa. It's a beautiful spot and if you're a fan of early dinners (6 pm) like I am, the dining room has high ceilings and lots of natural sunlight.
Decanted and drank over 90 minutes.
Notes of red cherry, red plum, rosemary, and maybe some slight pepper?
Paired well with both pizza and pasta.
Solid acidity, maybe some slightly rustic notes as well.
Solid Brunello with some age at a reasonable price. Great QPR.
