I recently acquired two bottles of Jean-Pierre Robinot (Les Vignes de L'Ange Vin) – Camille Élevage Longue 2018 and I'm very excited to try these. It's a Pineau d'Aunis.
The website stated that I can thank myself later if I store these for another 15 years, a friend of mine stated the opposite (drink ASAP) because of the Pineau d'Aunis which is very volatile? so maybe someone on this reddit can help me enjoy this bottle optimally

Pop one now and cellar the other – Robinot’s élevage longue cuvées can handle time but Pineau d’Aunis is definitely better on the younger side before those volatile compounds get too wild.
I rarely cellar bottles for long that I haven’t tried before, I’d give one a go and see if you think it’ll improve or is past prime. I’ve been unlucky on all theee robinots I’ve tried over the years so I’m not a fan and wouldn’t hold on to one
