I did this checkers on the table using stick on wallpapers and yeah for me it looks pretty decent but my bf said he doesn't like it and wants me to peel everything offf but I've put alot of effort into making this thoooo :(( is it really that much bad?? Any ideas to make it look better, appreciate it :))

It’s got kind of a Hot Wheels/kids room vibe, which might not be the look you were going for, but it looks fine.
If you like it and it’s your place then keep it. It’s not to my taste, but I think it would look better if you covered the rest of the undone cabinet in orange because right now, it looks incomplete. The hardware is also uneven, so maybe swap those out too.
Why does my opinion matter, you like it and that’s what matters. Taste is subjective.
Do you have other pieces that this goes with? I just don’t get the design or how this ties into the room as a whole.

I agree with the comment that said this looks like a fast food restaurant. I get wanting to upgrade the cabinet because it looks kinda dingy, but this isn’t it.
Looking at it makes me want a Whataburger. Solid orange would be better imo.
I love it! It is your space and if you enjoy it then please keep it and tell your bf that it’s for you anyway, not him, so you’re going to keep it like it is. You can always take them off at a later date if you’re getting sick of the color or anything, but I love how much life it brings to an otherwise rather plain cabinet table!
This would be extra cute with a bouquet of colorful Lego flowers in a vase on top in the middle, or even a dried flower bouquet would be cute, too! I’d say real flowers but those don’t last near as long as the other two would.
