picked up this canvas photo frame at a charity shop recently but not quite sure how best to hang it. Would it be easiest to place a nail or screw on each side, then attach string to hang via a hook, or just use the lip of the frame? Previous adhesive hooks have all eventually caused it to come crashing down so trying to come up with a more permanent solution. Any advice would be appreciated. thank you.

I think a simple hanger (even just a nail) in the middle hung directly on the lip should work – at least it does for me – unless the piece is unusually heavy. One on each side will keep it straight.
I use those 3M velcro thingies when hanging a canvas.
