I picked this up at a wine tasting recently. The front label with Laverne and Shirley is usually used on the Willamette Valley Pinot, but the back label says it’s the Yamhill Carlton , and a totally different label design. I texted Big Table Farm a couple days ago but haven’t heard back. Any guesses to what I actually bought?

Not positive but I know as far back as 2017 Brian and Clare had long term plans to switch to full estate bottling. May just be that by the 2023 vintage they’ve achieved that so they’ve lasered in their designate to a nested AVA. Best guess.
I wanted to like this. Maybe I was having an off day but it tasted very barnyard-y to me at the time.
Yamhill /Carlton is just the name of a specific area in the Willamette Valley. I guess I’m not sure what you are asking.
