She was the best. No retakes, whatever happened she just went with it.
Time isn't always on your side when you're shooting a show, or it's past the half hour.
One of my favorite historical figures, I miss her 🙁
If you have never seen it, watch the movie
Julie and Julia
Undreated
Still teaching us that it’s ok when mistakes happen, to embrace them and it’ll still turn out okay. 😊
Love her! Thanks for sharing this. 💓
To her, it didn't have to be perfect.
It had to be delicious.
No one tells you or shows you how many trials and errors it takes for things to come out how you want. It is refreshing to see real people with real outcomes. It is sad that only in the old videos do we see real life situations anymore. I love her explanation and resolution to overcome adversity in the kitchen nothing is perfect and it adds character and authenticity to genuine home cooking. Beautiful soul. We truly have taken our elders for granted. If you have grandparents still alive, please for the love of god learn everything you can to pass down to your children before it’s too late. Faith in humanity.
Just get the glaze on fast…the dome is getting deeper?! 😅 she was so humble❤
Julius Child aint foolin me, jack
Collapse or not , I bet it tasted delicious
She was a classic. 😊
Always a professional, always grace under pressure! I love you, Miss Child <3
She is so earnest and thst is a huge part of why I adore her
I used to watch the reruns when I was around 7-9 years old. She used to mesmerize me.
Interesting how thin she is considering the food she makes/eats. But back then it was real unadulterated food
Still taste the same.
Julia was one of a kind. There hasn't been or ever will be another Julia Child. She saved the show no matter the outcome 💜
Tucker Carlson?
This is cooking. Especially baking. It’s literally chemistry. Sometimes the soufflé deflates.
It has character
Human. Experience.
The tremble in the voice. Real.
That is calm under pressure.
She is amazing.
My dad was a big fan and so am I❤
She's like ok, well, screw it, its still going to be good. Never let them see you sweat was her motto. I learned so much from her.
She had a few mishaps on the show but kept on trucking. That’s why Dan Ackroyd’s skit of her was so dam funny.
It looks like a dormant volcano that went off.
"I wouldn't like it straight up & down because it would look rigid" 😳
I just love to rewatch Julia Child 😂
She was awesome.
Crazy to think just how bland food looked on black and white TV back in the day. 😅
It was great when we got our 19 inch color TV from KMart…LOL
She is the Bob Ross of cooking. No mistakes, just happy accidents
It's a beautiful vulcano. Well done Julia! Love her!
Oops!
JULIA CHILDS IS DEAD ,WHO IS PROFITING FROM HER NOW WITHOUT TRANSPERACY
😂 She is missed. Definetly the GOAT.
Huh. I can't get over the impression that it's Julia Child pretending to be Meryl Streep pretending to be Julia Child.
I love that most of her reveals are like, "well, shit". And she's like, "Wonderful!"
I think that's why everybody liked her. Her shit didn't always come out perfect because she quite literally cooked in front of the camera.
everfything probably tasted really bland before they had colors
Darling Julia. 🧡☺️🧡
This is the second short of Julia Child I've seen; both flops and she is so cool as a cucumber, just going with the flow. Cool lady 😎 ♥️ 👌
Julia Childs proves that even as your life is collapsing in on itself you can always keep going.
Goddess level confidence… 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😋😋😋
