How much tea — 2tsp?
I am wondering how long this lasts in the fridge. And I am assuming you should strain it first. But could you make a week's worth and just heat it up?

This is not how you make chai! You need to put tea and masala prior to water boiling for one thing.
I thought authentic masala chai is when chay leaves are boiled in milk not water.
