📍 THE DISTILLERY
Compass Box isn’t a distillery. It’s a blending house founded in 2000 by American John Glaser. This is the first edition built exclusively from peated malts: Talisker, Benrinnes, Laphroaig, and Williamson: a trade name used by independent bottlers for heavily peated single malt distilled at Laphroaig Distillery on Islay’s South Shore.

🍂 TASTING NOTES
Oily smoke on the nose with zingy spice, then something unexpectedly bright: raspberry, apricot, a little tarry rope underneath. The palate hits dense and spiced: clove, black pepper, medicinal peat duking it out with winey fruit. Finish is long, ashy, and ends on menthol and citrus oil.
