BREAKING NEWS: An unidentified spacecraft has entered Earth’s atmosphere… and apparently, they came for dinner.

In this episode of Broke Gourmet, things get a little out of control when aliens detect “extreme cheese levels” and demand the source. Turns out… it’s this dish.

Today we’re making Creamy Roasted Feta & Cherry Tomato Pasta — the viral baked feta pasta, but done right. Simple ingredients, budget-friendly, and ridiculously creamy.

If aliens are traveling light-years for it… it might be worth making.

🍝 RECIPE: Creamy Roasted Feta & Cherry Tomato Pasta

Serves: 3–4

Ingredients:

8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)

1 block feta cheese (8 oz) or 1-10oz container of crumbled feta

2 pint cherry tomatoes

3–4 cloves garlic (minced)

1/2 cup olive oil

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp red pepper flakes

1/4 cup Fresh basil (or 1 tbsp dried)

¼ cup reserved pasta water

Optional (recommended):

¼ cup grated parmesan

Zest of ½ lemon

🔥 Instructions:

Prep the dish

Add tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to a baking dish.

Place feta block in the center and drizzle with oil.

Bake

Bake at 400°F for 30–35 minutes

Tomatoes should burst, feta should be soft

Cook pasta

Boil pasta in salted water

Reserve ¼ cup pasta water before draining

Make the sauce

Smash feta and tomatoes together until creamy

Add pasta + a splash of pasta water

Finish

Stir in basil and parmesan

Add more pasta water if needed for creaminess

💡 Pro Tip:
That pasta water is the key. It turns this from “dry TikTok pasta” into a creamy, restaurant-style sauce.
