Hidden on the island of Mallorca, we discover a forgotten mansion that has remained hidden in a town center for decades. 🏚️🌴

The four of us came to the island with no guarantees. Just a map full of possibilities, days of real exploration ahead, and the hope that somewhere on Mallorca, one special place was still waiting to be found. After many failed attempts, inaccessible locations, and empty ruins, we finally discovered this true hidden gem. 🗺️🔍

What makes this mansion so fascinating is how many layers of history still linger within its walls.

In the basement, signs point to a later life as a gourmet delicatessen, once selling local Mallorcan products like wine, olive oil, and preserves. But the house itself likely goes back much further… to the prosperous years of the town’s citrus trade, when wealthy merchant families built elegant townhouses in the center of town. 🍊🍷

Elsewhere inside, old naval papers, maritime photographs, and family records suggest that a later generation had ties to the sea and to international travel far beyond the island. And then, in the office, yet another chapter emerges: medical books, pathology volumes, and family documents that point toward a household connected to medicine and higher education. ⚓📚🩺

That is what makes this place feel so alive.
Not because it is untouched — but because it still reads like a timeline.

To discover and explore a place like this for ourselves was a real privilege. This is the beauty of raw and authentic exploration: setting out without certainty, and finding something far beyond what you expected.

Today, the mansion is listed for sale, still waiting for someone willing to invest in its future and restore its beauty. And hopefully, one day, life will return to these rooms once more. 🏛️✨

Until then, this video remains a rare glimpse inside a house that held on to its past just a little longer.

    Hey hey dear Maureno, Explomo, sorry I missed your lifestream yesterday evening.
    Wonderful explore on the isle if Mallorca! Beautiful countryside views. I also liked the animated parts of your video. So charming!
    But – of course – the detailed explore in that huge magnificient town house was t h e highlight! Wow, so many still wonderfully preserved timecapsule like rooms with original antique furniture and beautiful vintage items. A lot was effectively made in the art nouveau style. Also these multiple old documents and photographs, as well as the wonderful old portrait paintings were so fascinating to see, which told the history of this place. – Good to hear, that this location is eventually going to be restored. Let's hope for the best!
