Tokyo is a foodie paradise… unless you have dietary restrictions.

Is often what you’ll hear, but this woman refused to let that be the case.
Takako-san is a local who built a place that allows everyone to enjoy classic Japanese dishes regardless of their dietary restrictions.
And yes, that includes karaage, ramen, gyoza, AND fluffy pancakes. 🥞😋

If you’re coming to Tokyo and want to learn even more about the Japanese food scene like Japanese table manners, iconic dishes, and the experts behind them, you can check out the Go Go Gourmet Tokyo website run by the official Tokyo government (@tokyotokyooldmeetsnew) that has some cool reads 🙂

  1. A gluten-free diet is considered unnecessary or "dumb" by experts for those without Celiac disease or a valid sensitivity, as
it offers no proven health benefits for the general population

  2. Wowwww. Can she or someone please open a restaurant exactly like this in California???!! 🙏 Gluten-free Japanese cuisine is not available to this degree in California.

  3. FF asian with east asian dna are allergic to gluten thats why they get little spots around the triceps area although nothing really bad happens to them when they eat gluten

  4. As delicious as the food in Japan looks, being allergic to seafood and onions severely limits my options.

But definitely good on her for offering food for people who otherwise wouldn't be able to partake of Japanese comfort food!

  5. This is the worst thing I’ve seen all day. As an Asian person I am outrage. Either conform to the food or the food kill you.
