Went back to Bungalow, which made the The New York Times Top 100 list, and I enjoyed it so much more this time around. The ambience and decor are stunning and the food is absolutely delicious, which makes it easy to see why so many people love it. It’s officially one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the city.

As an Indian it's a bit weird to me how the rest of the world id obsessed with mango lassi. I personally have never had mango lassi, for one I've had lassi and mango shake separately. It's good everyone likes it I just don't understand why it blew up so much in the foreign 😅
My Indian wife has never seen paneer served like that. It looks good though.
The presentation on some of these dishes is incredible
Heh I always find it funny
How everytime when an Indian restaurant open in a white area or a popular spot it’s the same 4 dishes twisted around to make a sense for foreigners
I find it very hard to believe that if theses same foreigners were in real Indian restaurants they would like it
Form a personal experiance in nyc when I brought lesser known Indian dishes to a potluck barely anyone touched them yet had they tasted them they would have know that there’s life beyond butter chicken, mango lassi kebabs and lamb
No hate to kaitlyn at all I’ve been a long time follower of her
yeah paneer can be served crumbled like that sometimes, not super common in curries (it's mostly paneer bhurji) but yeah it's a thing sometimes
Been waiting for this video for sooo longgg
Chef Vikas Khanna is a true gem from our country. He's sort of a food whisperer. Glad you enjoyed the food
Looks amazing ❤
😊
Indian food hype =D Lamb chops look so nice
Great that you have a number 2! Always nice to have food options
Mango bite is the freaking best
That paneer is like paneer bhurji, thats like grated paneer. Pretty common way of preparing paneer in some parts of the country.
This has to be my favourite episode of the series yet , love Vikas Khanna as a Chef and love his food even more
Houston food tour next ?
Omg mango byte is the best mango candy 🤤
omg it’s my dream to go here
That kind of paneer was a go-to quick dish my mom made for me when she was cooking something I didn't like, because she could just make a little bit of fresh paneer without needing the time to press and set it.
Went last week, fell in loveee. the yogurt kebab and the date dessert on the way out, heaven
I really like the production of your vids- I was thinking – if I couldn’t hear – I can still follow along reading and seee the food at the same time ❤
Ahh I’m coming to NYC this week for the first time in years and I’m so excited. If you had one rec, what would it be?
