One of my earliest podcasts, scratchy sound and all, about how I became a gourmet and a permanent resident of one of the great food cultures of the world, that is the city of Bordeaux. Food, the enjoyment of it, the search for it, the unanticipated discoveries of it, all form one of the great adventures of human life. In one sense or another my entire time on this planet has been consumed literally and metaphorically by the exploration of the great food cultures of the world. French Canada was one. Japan was another. Napa was a third. The south of Italy has always been the mother country. And then there is France itself. This personal adventure continues to this day. Join me.
