🧾 INGREDIENTS (SERVES 4)
* Potatoes (Yukon Gold or similar) – 1 kg / 2.2 lb
* Whole milk – 250 ml / 1 cup
* Unsalted butter – 195 g / 13½ tbsp (≈ 1⅔ sticks)
* Garlic – 1 clove, lightly crushed
* Fresh thyme – 2–3 sprigs
* Freshly grated nutmeg – to taste
* Fine salt – to taste
