If you love Creamy Pasta and Garlic Bread, you have to try this fusion! These Chicken Alfredo Bread Boats are the ultimate Iftar hack crispy, cheesy, and loaded with a velvety white sauce. They are much quicker than making pizza dough from scratch and tastes like a gourmet meal! 🌙✨
🛒 Ingredients
For the Alfredo Sauce:
* 2 tbsp Butter
* 1 tbsp Garlic (minced)
* 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
* 1.5 cups Milk
* 1/2 tsp Black pepper & 1/2 tsp Salt
* 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or Oregano)
* 1/2 cup Cheddar or Parmesan cheese
For the Chicken Filling:
* 250g Chicken (cubed)
* 1 tsp Red chili flakes
* 1/2 tsp Garlic
* Salt & Pepper to taste
* 1 tsp Italian seasoning
* The Bread & Toppings:
• French Bread or Long Buns
* Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
* Toppings: Black olives, Jalapeños, Fresh coriander
* Optional: A drizzle of extra sauce or mayo on top
👩🍳 Instructions
* Prep the Chicken: Sauté your chicken cubes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili flakes, and Italian seasoning until fully cooked and slightly golden also add the alfredo sauce and Set aside.
* Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic. Add flour and whisk for a minute. Gradually pour in milk while whisking to avoid lumps. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Once it thickens, stir in the cheese until melted.
* Prepare the “Boats”: Slice your French bread in half and use lower part and set the top part aside
* Assemble:
* Spread a generous layer of the Alfredo Sauce inside the bread.
* Top with the Seasoned Chicken.
* Add a layer of Mozzarella Cheese.
* Finish with Olives and Jalapeños.
* Bake: Place on a baking tray and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden and crispy.
* Garnish: Top with fresh coriander and a final drizzle of sauce if desired. Serve hot!
