Kinda looks like Wicked's PUBLICITY (not the movie) has inspired actors to carry Drama into the publicity–you want to see the movie to see if you can tell if say Margot Robey and the guy were really into each other.
Trust? I find the narratives they push out tend to push me away from the content. It was the same with the Don't Worry Darling nonsense. It takes away from the serious work of the film and spits in it's face. The Mark Fischbach (Markiplier on YT) drama also seems to push into that same BS narrative which is sad because I genuinely don't believe he or the film he made is doing this type of thing. But, for it to hit #1 for a short period then subsequently fall off of lists is wild in the same way as these romantic forays. Hollywood just isn't accessible by the population anymore from mass capitulation and marketing push to the easiest pocket to pilfer. The ouroburos has done itself in.
Flop Incoming for Wuthering Heights Movie!!!!
I'm going with hollywood hasn't made even a barely average film nevermind anything notable in the last 10-15 years and is pushing the already intense marketing manipulation up to 11 because selling a crap film is tough, selling a relationship is easier than breathing… your explanation is very overcomplicated. the manipulation has always been there, add that society is FAR more gullible than it was 20-30 years ago and they dont even need to make a good film… just a shiny set of keys. it goes back to the age old concept of 'what if movies were real life' its what every naive person wants to believe and will suspend disbelief just for the premise nevermind the film, its the same reason 50 shades was big, or game of thrones became big… sex.
the original pilot of game of thrones was so dull they got another writer in and they told them to add alot more sex and game of thrones was born… simple animals are simple animals
Sinners was mid af
