I think the UK process to compel to give evidence in parliament is much like the US. They demand people attend to give evidence then they either don't attend or attend but give nonsense answers til it's over. If you don't attend it's frowned upon but you wont go to prison or anything.
Regardless, when China opens a 2nd front by invading Canada and Alaska in 35 years from now. Mexico USA and Canada will unite to repel them. So this squabbling is just that.

Trump's creepy behavior with T Modeling Management and his close connections with Casablanca and Brunel are an under-reported factor in this whole Epstein thing. Much of his early success in entertainment was through Ms Universe and Ms USA, involving some underage models sure, but allegedly withholding their passports and threatening to deport them by reporting their labor while on a tourist visa that TMM obtained for their models. Trump may or may not be a pedophile, though I doubt his character allows for much discernment on the ethics, I think the much more concerning implications is that Trump may have been business partners with Epstein on his more nefarious business schemes. Many of the abuse allegations have been made just that, but his reactions and treatment of everyone involved with Epstein; from Putin, to Bannon, to Dershowitz, to Lutnick, comes off as a business partner/client relationship even to this day.

I’m surprised they could find a groundhog. The weather has been so hot and outrageously dry in California even the number of feral cats is down. Lucky for Pennsylvania if they still have lots of groundhogs.
Many years ago in Arlington, when they put a number of creeks in pipes we lost tons of small animals but I had never seen or heard of deer in Arlington around the neighborhoods. Now that there are so many I am awaiting the big cat sightings because I believe it will be harder for wolf packs to reestablish. So looking forward to the coming dramas.
I'm a big fan of John Kiriakou, and have just started listening to this podcast. That being said John and Ted are dead wrong on their views on Russia. Putin is a war criminal, who won't rest until he takes over all of Ukraine. The Ukrainian's don't want to be under Russia's thumb. Russia during the execution of it's "Special Military Operation" has committed multiple war crimes .

Hi John, love your podcast been listening to you on every single platform. After hearing your thoughts on Iran, I can't help but ask: have you fallen for regime propaganda? the number of people is not 3117 it's in the 40k-50k zone according to doctors and hospitals inside Iran, and one source even reported 45k death certificates being issued the day after protests. I know you follow the news diligently and I agree with you on a lot of other matters, but can't help to disagree on this one. There were even many many instances of the regime forces barging into hospitals and shooting the wounded protestors. I'd love to know your thoughts.
A correction. It was stated that the statue of limitations prevented prosecution of possible sex offenders in the Epstein Files case. The statute of limitations has not expired for all men listed in the Epstein files, preventing their prosecution. Many offenses like federal sex trafficking of minors have no time limit since 2006 amendments, while state laws vary and some allow extensions or revivals for child victims.
