I finally investigated The Local in Wayland, MA a hyped, classic pub-style restaurant and somehow it delivered the most aggressively MID meal of my entire life. 😐🍔🍟
This wasn’t bad.
This wasn’t good.
This was… average.
So naturally, the Snackmaster General had to file an official report with the Snack Investigation Unit.
If you love burgers, fries, local Massachusetts food spots, or watching someone spiral over bland food, you’re in the right place.
Was I wrong? Or is this the most “just okay” restaurant in New England?

If you look up the definition of "mid" it might be this restaurant.
Honestly, you're gonna find everything else to taste bland and pale after you've tasted all that lip smacking, masaledar and amazing Indian Food!!!🤤 No intention to demean other foods out there. It's just that, indian food items taste next level.
It is very difficult to make good tasty food without the use of spices, atleast some minimum spices. And one thing that people forget is it's not the amount of spices but the quality of it. Once the essential spice oils are gone, it's just tasteless powder.
Try kfc burger
French onion soup is like pizza and the… other thing. It can never be truly BAD 😂
Man, you have bigger bandwidth with your taste buds now. Once you taste Indian cuisine, it’s an irreversible change you have made to your taste sensors. Now that can’t be reset.
Don’t spend money at some pub. Just save that and by November-December 2026, be here in India.
