  1. 5:50 'Keep it low! Keep it slow!'… Couldn't have said it better! I learnt from my Mum that it's ideal to have the flow constant yet as slow as possible! If using pre-boiled water for a 6-cup she used to try to make it take 6 minutes… or at the very least 5. If it began to flow too quickly for her liking, she'd lift it above the heat, turning it down, only returning it when it slowed.

  2. I'm more a fan of filling the base with hot water and brewing on high same results with less time on stove as the moka pots tend to be much smaller than the burners

  3. Thank you very much for making this video: Straightforward, clear, encouraging and fun. Well done Team SCG!

  4. Oh boy I have issues. Tried a few times and gave up. What I produced…I got the impression that it could strip the paint off a submarine. It really tasted like a bizarre chemical concoction. Not for human consumption. I'll try again one day.

  5. I make a half batch with my 3-4 cup for me, and a full with 1 or 2 extra guests. I just tamp the coffee a bit for half, plus I make frothed milk with a French press for cap🎉
