  1. How did you manage to get a camera in the back of your oven, and not burn up? Is the camera behind the oven, and you have a window in the back?

  2. could you do the blanching then freeze them so you always have them ready to finish the frying?

  3. As any Brit will tell you when making roast potatoes – you parboil them until they’re floury and the edges are crumbling. You then drain and toss them in the pan to further break up the edges (gives you crispy bits). These roasties looked way too uptight!

  4. I love baked potato tacos or baked potato with sausage gravy (instead of biscuits)

  5. I made mashed potatoes for dinner. Now I sit down to relax and Frank instructs us to make mashed potatoes. Coincidence? I think not!

  6. Meh, I think a lot of this is unrealistic for most people. I cook a lot of these things with far less effort. Except the potato salad, that one is about as simple as it gets. Potato rosti looks cool, makes me feel a little silly ill just steam all that stuff in the oven together with an uncovered pan of breaded chicken

  7. I add a little bit of Dijon's mustard to the mashed potatoes. I think that there is one dish missing, "gratin dauphinois"

  8. "adds ton of salt before cooking" -> adds more salt – and more salt. Is it just me or is anyone else happy with less than half that amount of salt? x_x

  9. I love Frank but I draw the line when he says chill the potatoes in the fridge for 6 7 hours
    Personally I would just get some MCD to satisfy the craving lol
