French toast is a dessert, fight me!!
French toast with a warm blueberry compote, vanilla ice cream, honey and lemon zest!!!!! The best!

Method:
Egg mixture:
1 egg
2-3 tbsp milk
1 tsp brown sugar
Splash of vanilla
Pinch of cinnamon
Whisk well.

Bread:
2 slices bread
Dip 5-7 seconds per side

Cook:
Heat a nonstick pan on medium-low
Add butter
Cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden and set
Lower heat if browning too fast.

Topping:
Warm blueberry compote
Vanilla ice cream (I’ve used Amul sugar free vanilla)
Light honey drizzle
Lemon zest
