  1. many Italians prefer pandoro, you could have done that but I realize that perhaps panettone is more traditional 🙂

  2. Little tip: if you really wanna taste a real panettone, don't buy from stores but buy from local bakery in italian cities or villages, it will cost like double of retail but so worth it

  3. wtf? How Panetone is hard to make? Even I can do it and I'm a recipe for disaster in kitchen… (Yea, I've burnt teapots and pans by forgetting them on fire over night…)

  4. The craziest thing is yeast starters are being passed down from generation to generation.

  5. Im italian and I know how to do one, i also suggest u to buy a real panettone because the tre marie is a commercial version, u should fly to italy and try one from a real bakery that actually use the best ingredients with the best quality, at the end u made a fantastic video showing how u hustle with this recipe, much love from italy man❤

  6. this guy: makes a decent panettone "i did horrible"
louis gantus: makes shit panettone: "i am a baking god"

  7. Italian, I started making it 2 years ago and now the result is like the ones that you buy. Your result is great if we consider that it was your first try. It is important to refresh your sourdough starter three times in a day, and to maintain 27 degrees during all time. And use a solid sourdough, not the one that you used, it is weak I think

  8. I'm not even joking. I got a cake like that 2 days ago, literally the exact same thing
