  1. Hi Nisha, I'm glad The NY Times has a video channel for plant based cooking. They picked one of our best plant based chef. The recipes look so delicious, as usual, as you are our Queen of Color plant based cuisine ❤

  2. Nisha always makes BANGERS! I have made her fennel recipe before, and it is really good! I adore her cookbook. It is beautiful and well made. Happy to see her here!

  5. Love all this recipes but I was waiting/looking for some kind rice or starch dish to bring it all together. So many of there dishes would have seems more substantial over a mash or bed of rice? Maybe just my preferences I am total carb queen.

  6. The NYT could not have chosen a better person to represent modern vegan cooking than Nisha. She is fantastic, have followed her for many years, and her cookbook, "Big Vegan Flavor" will teach you everything you need to know about cooking vegan dishes that everyone will love, whatever their preferred way of eating. Great Christmas present for any cooks in your life. Go Nisha!

  7. Do you think lemon juice could work instead of orange juice? I know it’s missing that sweet component….

  8. I feel like a proud Auntie seeing you on NYT cooking, Nisha!!! Congratulations! The recipes look absolutely delicious – can't wait to try the squash and chickpeas! 🌠 Edit: And the fennel! I'm one of the licorice people and would love if this changed my mind. Thank you!
